1st place in the “Wellness & Spa” category
The online voting for the Wellness Heaven Awards 2025 ran from 10.10.2024 to 30.09.2024. From 106 nominated wellness hotels, the 20 best hotels in the categories of wellness, cuisine, rooms, location and service have now been chosen to coincide with the start of autumn.
However, the awards are not decided by an elite jury, but by the democratic majority of Wellness Heaven portal users. The idea behind it: The “Experienced Traveler” should bring the best wellness hotels to light.
We are incredibly proud!
A total of 26,229 votes were cast in the “Wellness & Spa” category, of which 3,842 voted for DAS EDELWEISS. With this result, we are almost 300 points ahead of the runner-up and can therefore celebrate a successful 1st place!

Our 7,000m² EDELWEISS Mountain Spa extends over 5 floors with separate adults-only and family areas.
Adults Only
We have created the perfect place for all those seeking peace and quiet. Our spacious saunas and infrared cabins are the perfect place to let go of any tension and unwind. Our three spacious relaxation rooms provide plenty of room for relaxation. Floating loungers and cozy corners create a special feeling of well-being and make time stand still. The rooms have a particularly calm and cozy atmosphere. Warm and bright colors contribute to inner peace and balance. The outdoor infinity pool on the 6th floor with a view of the breathtaking Grossarl mountains is also a real experience.
Family Spa
Many great highlights await our families in the Family Mountain Spa, which was redesigned in 2023. The modern indoor pool with a view of the idyllic Grossarl mountains and the outdoor sports pool offer plenty of space for swimming and splashing around. For our youngest guests there is a separate baby and toddler pool with tractor slide and the ceiling fascinates with lovely light balloons. Want to get a little warmer? Then there is a separate textile sauna for our families.
Those who prefer a little more action will get their money's worth in the indoor slide park, which extends over three levels. The 5 water slides, including a tire slide with half-pipe and funnel, provide fun and action for the whole family.
