Our roots are here, in the middle of this impressive landscape. Growing up between mountains and forests, we are deeply connected to nature - and we would like to share this connection with you. Clear mountain air that invigorates with every breath. Wide meadows on which the morning dew glistens. “Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts: out of appreciation for nature and responsibility for future generations. Back in the 1980s, we built one of the first hydroelectric power plants in Grossarltal. Today, we supply DAS EDELWEISS with district heating from wood chips and photovoltaics. As a Best Water Hotel, we attach great importance to pure water for our mountain spa and water slide park. We make efficient use of resources with heat recovery and LED lighting throughout the hotel.”
