The noble cosmetics combine the effective essences from the surrounding Großarl mountains and respect the individuality and uniqueness of each skin. Alpine medicinal herbs and plants, such as edelweiß, lavender and chamomile, mountain pine, arnica, peppermint and lemon balm, of the highest quality form the basis of the handmade cosmetic products. Together with vitamins, nutrients as well as exquisite fats and essential oils of the best pharmaceutical quality, the natural active ingredients are processed into mineral-oil free textures that ensure an anti-aging care effect. The product range extends from facial care products for young and old to body scrubs, lip balm and relaxation pure oil to hand and foot creams, which are all available in the EDELWEISS Fashion Boutique and in the EDELWEISS Online Shop.

The hotel's own natural cosmetics line was developed together with Mag. Pharm. Monika Wirnsberger-Machner, who has been a guest at DAS EDELWEISS hotel for ten years now. Enthused by the lifeblood of the host family Hettegger, their closeness to nature and attention to detail, this pharmacist set herself the goal of making this value-oriented philosophy transparent in a specially developed cosmetics line. The vision was clear - to create effective, high-quality, natural, vegan and pharmaceutically handmade cosmetic products. In collaboration with the hotel’s beauty and spa team, a noble cosmetic line was created full of care and passion, which focuses on the optimal care and preservation of natural beauty with the effectiveness of alpine medicinal herbs.

Holistic rituals have been developed from this cosmetics line, which can be booked as treatments at the EDELWEISS Mountain Spa. For example, the detox cure "Get rid of ballast" cleanses the body deeply and helps to purify it. The ritual "Stay active and invigorate" relaxes the muscles after exercise and provides a pleasant freshness kick. The beauty care "Shine anew" provides the skin with exquisite nutrients and promotes its radiance.

EDELWEISS

To withstand cold and high UV exposure, Edelweiss contains effective substances to bind free radicals. Its antimicrobial, antioxidant and skin-protective properties provide special protection to maintain the healthy balance of the skin for youthful radiance.

Lavender

Lavender is used to soothe and relax the skin and prevent redness. Its analgesic effect is used in massage and muscle oils.
The light floral scented oil always points to one's center and evokes associations with fragrant mountain slopes that symbolize clarity, purity and grace.

Rosemary

Rosemary promotes blood circulation. Thus, the skin is better supplied with oxygen and gets a fresh, "rosy" expression. It restores the natural pH of the skin and also contributes to wound healing.

Mountain salt

Salt acts like a fountain of youth for the skin. It tightens, purifies the tissue, helps to eliminate toxins. Trace elements contained in the salt improve the microcirculation of the skin and activate skin metabolism.

Nettle

Nettle soothes redness and irritation of the skin. It has natural astringent properties and helps to refine the pores of the skin. Its protective antioxidants that reduce free radical damage provide detox and anti-aging benefits to the skin.

Hemp oil
