A Perfect Harmony of Wine and Gourmet Menu at Kork & Gloria

Under the theme "Großarl Meets Bordeaux," an extraordinary evening is set to take place, where we have the honor of welcoming Justine Tesseron, owner of Château Pontet Canet, Louis de Baritoult from Duclot, and Eric Bompard from Gosset Champagne to our wine bar, Kork & Gloria. Alongside Transgourmet Trinkwerk, we will host guests from Salzburg's hospitality industry and sommeliers for an exclusive wine tasting masterclass—an event that promises an exceptional culinary journey.

At the heart of the evening lies the perfect synergy between exquisite wines and gourmet dishes. We will present five selected Gosset Champagnes and eleven vintages of Château Pontet Canet to our guests. These exceptional wines will be complemented by a specially curated menu from our head chef, Alexander Hettegger.

Each course is carefully paired with the corresponding wine to highlight the flavors and bring out the best of both worlds. The rich, complex notes of the Pontet Canet wines find the perfect match in the tender, pink roasted venison from the local area, with the powerful red wines adding depth to this savory dish. As a starter, the fine, elegant Gosset Champagne is beautifully paired with a refined ceviche of Arler char—a refreshingly harmonious combination.

Our Kork & Gloria wine bar provides the ideal setting for discreet and exclusive events of up to 50 guests. The Hettegger family, led by Karin & Peter Hettegger, personally plans each event. Whether it's selecting wines for a tasting together with our head sommeliers Daniela Neuhauser and Oliver D'Agnolo or customizing the dishes, we place great emphasis on tailored consultations. Every menu is individually designed with our head chef, Alexander Hettegger, according to the wishes and preferences of our guests.
