Hotel Edelweiss in Berchtesgaden

Reconstruction and demolition work - starting in spring 2008

Right at the heart of the Berchtesgaden market a new wellness and conference hotel is being constructed: The Edelweiss. The central location makes optimal public transport connections (train station and urban train connection with Salzburg)possible in just a few minutes by foot.

The 4* Superior Hotel is being built on the site of the old Hotel Post. Hotel Post, then known as the Taferne, was first mentioned in official documents in 1328 as the oldest guesthouse.
